We all know about the Madagascar part 1 movie, one of the all time favorite of the animated movie lovers. Now its sequel which is directed by Eric Darnell and Tom McGrath has been released in US and going to be released in India within few more days. The movie started from where the last part ended, that is Alex, Gloria, Melman and Marty finally decided to stay in Africa itself. But in this part, they all decided to go back to New york and boarded a flight which is captained by a penguin. The flight crashed on the way and they cross landed in Africa.
Here Alex accidently meets his parents living in Africa. His father Zuba is the Pride's alpha lion has a rival named Makunga(Alec Baldin). When Alex was a cub, he was taken by a group of poachers and fell in a river accidently. They have problem now with the nature restricing the water supply and Makunga indirectly. Some decides to give someone as sacrifice to the water god and Melman volunteer himself for that sacrifice because of some reasons. Melman missed to tell his love towards Gloria who is now in love with Moto Moto, a hippo.
Now all the four friends decided to trace out the reason for the water problem and finds it solution by rectifying a dam issue.
